About Us

Purpose Statement

Our purpose is to inspire a love of Australian Rules Football in children aged 5 to 12, while supporting their physical, social, and emotional development. We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive community where young players can thrive, make friendships, and grow in confidence both on and off the field. At the heart of everything we do are the values of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to be a leading junior Australian Rules Football club, recognised for developing not only skilled players but also well-rounded individuals who embody the true spirit of the game. We strive to inspire future generations to pursue excellence, embrace leadership, and contribute positively to their communities. Through quality coaching, innovative programs, and strong community engagement, we aim to set the benchmark for youth sport, offering a place where every child feels proud to play.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and rewarding environment where young players can learn, grow, and fall in love with Australian Rules Football. We are committed to promoting physical health, personal growth, and lifelong fitness through active participation. Guided by the values of inclusivity, integrity, and fair play, we make decisions that reflect these principles every day. By celebrating all achievements big and small, we’re building a strong, united club community driven by passion, pride, and a shared love for the game.

club history

The club was founded in 1982 when members of the local community saw the need for a junior football club based in Lesmurdie. At that stage, the club consisted of only 3 teams and a total of 60 children. Forty two years later, the club is still going strong and now has a membership of 150 children, with full teams for all years from Auskick through to year 6.

We are proud of the commitment shown to the club by parents and players alike. Fundraising efforts over the years have enabled us to improve our facilities and equipment.

One event in particular that our club looks forward to is our Mega Training Day at the start of each season, when players are introduced to their coaches during a day of organised drills and fun.

We thank everyone who has been a part of the rich Lesmurdie Saints Junior Football Club history, including our dedicated parents and supporters, without whom none of this would have been possible.
